The Diploma in Business (Real Estate Management) is designed for individuals seeking a career in Business management and also for executives who want to advance their knowledge in effective management. Topics include Principles of Marketing, Innovation and Product Development, Accounting and Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations and Quality Management and Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship.
Sound knowledge of the various functional elements related to business practices are imparted to participants through useful business frameworks within which today's managers and supervisors must operate and the illustration of practical cases.

Accreditation
The Diploma in Business (Real Estate Management) is developed by Real Estate
Academy (REA). EIA is accredited by the South Australian Government under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) which guarantees academic rigour and very high standards. The AQF provides a nationally consistent framework for all qualifications issued by higher education institutions including universities. EIA is based in Adelaide, South Australia.

Entry Requirements
By the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Credit passes in 3 GCE "O" levels subjects or equivalent
- Attainment of 'N' Levels qualification or equivalent with relevant working experience
- Professional or academic certificates from recognised institutions
- In the absence of equivalent qualifications, mature candidates (18 years and above) with relevant working experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis)

Programme Outline and Duration
This part-time Diploma in Business (Real Estate Management) programme consists of 7 modules can be completed in 7 months. Students who do not meet the English Language proficiency requirement may need to complete an English Language Course before enrolling in the diploma. Students are expected to attend classes once to twice a week which may include weekend.
Students will be involved in interactive lectures, group discussions, activities and exercises. Each student's learning will be assessed by way of continuous assessment, such as assignments, tests, quizzes, oral presentations and/ or examination, which allows students to demonstrate competency at stages of learning.

Award
Students are required to complete all the core modules before advancement to do the major modules.
Students will receive a Certificate in Real Estate upon successful completion of all the core modules.
Students will be awarded the Diploma in Business (Real Estate Management) upon successful completion of all the core and major modules. Graduates from this programme may use the initials "Dip. Bus (Real Estate)" after their names.

Programme Payment
Note: There will be a non-refundable application fee of S$100.
The Diploma in Business (Real Estate Management) is pre-approved by the Skills Development Fund (SDF).
SDF was formed with the primary objective of encouraging employers to invest in skills upgrading of the workforce. The SDF does this by offering assistance as an incentive to companies to mount training programmes for employees.
Students will be eligible for an SDF training support of 80% of the total course fee if they fulfill the SDF requirements.

Withdrawal and Deferment
All notice of withdrawal must be in writing. A full refund of the course fee paid less the application fee will be made if notice of withdrawal is received within 2 weeks prior to commencement of the course. If notice of withdrawal is received after 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the course, no refund will be given.
