Norman Ho

Norman Ho was admitted to the Singapore Supreme Court as an Advocate and Solicitor in 1982. He was also admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales in 1997. He has been appointed as Notary Public and Commissioner of Oaths by the Singapore Academy of Law since April 1996.

Norman is a Partner from the law firm, Rodyk & Davidson. The firm traces its origins to 1877 and is one of the oldest law firms in Singapore. It is a full service firm with active practice areas in real estate, corporate and taxation, banking and financial services, technology information, intellectual property and commercial litigation.

He has been with Rodyk & Davidson since his admission to the Rolls of Advocate and Solicitor. In 1985, Norman obtained his Masters in Law degree from the University of London on a scholarship from Rodyk & Davidson and was admitted into full partnership in 1988.

Norman specialises in real property and project financing. He has been and is still currently involved in commercial, retail, residential and resort developments both within and outside Singapore. He also advises many corporations on legal issues relating to real estate development and management.

Present and past appointments

He is presently one of the consultants for the Singapore Post-graduate Law Course and the Singapore Academy of Law. He has been invited by many financial institutions and corporations to conduct seminars and courses relating to his areas of specialities in Singapore and Overseas. He has also contributed papers to the European Intellectual Law Review and other publications. The media has interviewed him for his views on legal issues within his areas of practice.
