Donne Marie Aeria

Donne Marie Aeria has been an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore since 1980. She also holds appointments as a Notary Public and a Commissioner of Oaths.

She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) at the National University of Singapore(1979). She is also admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales (1995) and Hong Kong (1997).

Ms Aeria is a Consultant with the law firm, M/s John, Tan & Chan. Her law firm focuses on all forms of real estate transactions, corporate practice, banking & security documentation, joint ventures and civil and commercial dispute resolution.

She has represented and advised individuals, developers, banks and financial institutions. She also handles all corporate and commercial matters, probate and succession matters, immigration and employment law.

Present and past appointments

Ms Aeria has been appointed a course trainer at Singapore Institute of Management for Business Contracts and Company Law and is currently serving as an adjunct tutor in Company Law at the Ngee Ann Polytechnic and an external advisor (Conveyancing) to the Board of Legal Education.

She had also been an adjunct lecturer, tutor and external advisor to the Department of Legal Studies, Temasek Polytechnic, vice-chairman of the Conveyancing Practice Committee, Law Society of Singapore and a volunteer legal counsellor with the Singapore Association of Women Lawyers.

Ms Aeria is also a committee member of the Institutional Review Board, National Dental Centre and chairperson of the Infant Jesus Board of Management, CHIJ Schools.
