David Mitchell

David Mitchell has been in practice as an Advocate and Solicitor since 1982 and obtained a Masters of Law from the National University of Singapore in 1991. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitration in 1994 and attended the 15th Annual Summer School in Legal Aspects of International Finance at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary College, University of London in 1995.

David is a Partner from the law firm, Colin Ng & Partners. The firm is structured into 11 practice groups. CNP has formed an International Alliance with Sinclair Roche & Temperley, an international law firm which was founded in the City of London in 1934.

The Conveyancing Practice Group handles all types of property related work, including residential and commercial sales and purchase, landlord and tenant matters, bank-related mortgages and other legal matters relating to properties outside of Singapore.

Apart from general conveyancing work, he handled the en-bloc sale of St Martin's Court and acted jointly with another firm in a development project in Telok Blangah Road. He has been involved in the loan documentation for the acquisition of land from various statutory boards such as URA and HDB. He has also been involved in the development of industrial/technology parks.

He was recently appointed Honorary Legal Advisor to the Singapore Institute of Estate Agents(IEA).
